Standard Accor-quality, comfortable, clean and efficient hotel on a very busy mainstreet, so traffic noise cannot be avoided. The problem is the location, hotel is surrounded by empty building sites, commercial buildings closed for the night and just houses; no bars or restaurants. If you dont want to spend the evening in the hotel, you have to either walk to the city center close to 1 km or take the streetcar and drive to the main railwaystation; closest stop is in Türlenstrasse 300 meters from the hotel. As I said, there is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, it just isn't very ideally located

A nice city hotel ocated a few minutes from an Underground (U-Bahn) station with trains running very often, that puts you in dowtown Stuttgart in minutes.

Given that we had booked a room facing the courtyard, we din't hear anything of the traffic on the rather busy street in from of the hotel and as a consequence we cannot say whether that would be a problem in any of the rooms facing the street. However, we can recommend paying the premium to have a room facing the courtyard.

Mercure City Centre in Stuttgart is well located and has a very good breakfast . It's located in a walking distance from downtown Stuttgart and has a easy access for the excellent subway system of Stuttgart . If you are doing business in Stuttgart this is a very recommended place.

I booked a privileged room on the Internet as a A-club member. When I arrived it was imposible to get that kind of room. The hotel has reserved a comfort room for me, but could offer me a priviled smoker room. The price was also different than on the confirmation sheet.
Very bad service in the reception desk. The restaurant was good.
