“Guaranteed reservation not honored - hotel fully booked”

I had a guaranteed reservation at this hotel, which I confirmed 2 days prior to my arrival. However, when I arrived at the hotel at 22:30, I was informed that a mistake was made, the hotel was fully booked and there were no rooms available. I was also informed that a reservation was made for me at another hotel 20 km away and was given a map with directions in German on how to get to that hotel. The same thing happened to the colleague who was travelling with me. It appears that this hotel does not feel obligated to honor guaranteed reservations, so a late arrival may result in no room.

“NICE HOTEL IN A QUIET LOCATION”

Pleasant hotel on the edge of a forest, but still close to Stutgart centre. I had a "de luxe" room, but apart from being slightly larger than other rooms, there was nothing which would give you any feeling of luxury. Their casual restaurant served good food, but I found it a little too impersonal. Breakfast is included in the room price and was served in the same restaurant. It was OK, but nothing more than average. .
