Booked this as it seemed to be the nearest hotel to the shopping area and christmas market and being in the train station would be very convenient. This hotel is in a great location, even though it is in the train station, there is absolutely no train noise, though the same cannot be said for the road noise, we were put in a room facing the street and it was very noisy, we got only about 3/4 hours sleep on the friday night, we asked the following morning would it be possible to get a quieter room but were told that we would have to check out and try and check in again, but they basically said that they were fully booked so we would be running the risk of not getting another room, so we had no choice really but to stay where we were.
The reception desk spoke english so that was good, we also got the public transport ticket which allowed us free transport which was very handy!! The breakfast was very good also, pleasantly surprised, lots of hot and cold food.
The room itself was perfectly acceptable, small but cosy. the bathroom was well appointed too, though i didnt like the frosted glass door, though you couldnt actually see through it, but you could see shadows outside, it was quite offputting as the toilet was directly behind the door so didnt really like that. And the rooms facing the busy road are very noisy.
the location of the hotel is excellent, the main shopping street was basically across the road from the hotel, and the christmas market was off the main street too, everything flowed very well. And because of this and the good breakfast, we would stay here again.
