I stayed here in September for 3 nights, arriving Sunday afternoon check in was deserted but I was greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic English speaking receptionist, she effeciently booked me in and directed me to my room.
I had to go down 1 floor, walk along an undergound hallway to another building and then take lift to my floor, nothing really but a bit of a pain after a 6 hour flight and the tiedius airport routine.
The room was actually very spacious with separate lounge, bathroom and bedroom which overlooked a walled graveyard! bit strange but actally it was well screened and not a problem. Room was clean and well equipped with tv in each room, biggest problem was it was sunny and hot, the AC was just a light ineffective breeze, easier to open the windows, I did try to adjust it once but the main fuse blew tripping the room into darkness-reception sorted it but dont think the advertised AC is up to it
Main restaurant was very good, in fact the food was superb, ate breakfast every day and a lunch, really good decor, service and a superb buffett, well worth eating in.
Location was fine, walk up the hill to the town centre, plenty of shops, bars and places to eat, tried a chinese buffet one night which was great. You could turn right out the hotel and discover a small pub, fab food and beer too!
Stay here again, it really was comfortable, clean and quite homely but it is a little tired round the edges and the style comes accross a bit 70's, too much brass, mirrors and marble. Try sitting in the cafe inside/outside, it was really busy with a nice atmosphere and really quite relaxing, coffee or beer.
Great business hotel, locals used the cafe bar which added to the atmospher and you should try it, I would be happy to stay again
