We stayed at this hotel in Nov 2011 as part of a six city tour of Germany and Austria. As other reviewers have mentioned, this facility has clean contemporary (if small) rooms, but as a female traveling with my father, we had requested a room with two single beds. We discovered that although technically there were two single beds in our room, they are sandwiched between im-moveable built in baseboards so are not really possible to move them apart. Ok, so we figured we could build a pillow wall to create separate spaces...kind of awkward, but hey, when in Rome, right?

Next we realized that not only is the shower enclosure completely clear glass, BUT SO IS the door to the bathroom, giving us absolutely NO privacy for personal hygiene activities. Combined with the relatively small room size, we had a very awkward time of making sure that one of us stayed on one side of the room while the other made use of the facilities or shower.

I realize that the above conditions probably wouldn't even register for a single traveler or even a couple traveling together, but in my situation it really detracted from the quality of our stay.

The hotel restaurant was good, probably one of the better breakfast buffets we experienced in the course of the six different hotels we stayed in on this trip. There is a public computer with free internet access available in the lobby, but I ended up springing for the in-room WI-FI, I think it was 8 euro for 24 hours.

Overall, I think it would be a great business hotel, but for my travel companion situation, it wasn't the ideal facility.

Average business hotel. Internet service (wireless) was good, speed good for a hotel. Breakfast was excellent with wide variety of choices and good quality. Desk staff were average. Staff were not helpful with information I needed about train station options or how to use the local trams. Room was typically small as in most of the EU Zone, clean. Only a single size duvet on a double bed - ?? and only one odd shape pillow in room.

The breakfast buffet and bar were excellent and the room had everything you need for a business trip. Front desk staff not always very helpful. Overall, very good.
