We only stayed here for one night however had a great time. The hotel was quite central. only a 10 minute walk to the center of Mannheim. We were going to a concert in the SAP arena and there was a direct tram there that took about 15 minutes. The rooms were very spacious and the lady at reception was very friendly.

The down side was that the breakfast cost extra and was very expensive so we chose to go to a bakery just a few doors down.

Also there is only limited parking outside the hotel the rest is either residential parking or pay parking so can be very expensive.

“Hotel room basic but OK, only 10min walk from town centre”

The hotel room was quite spacious although single, but a bit outdated, with old furniture and old TV. The wooden panel along the length of the bed kept waiking me up during the night. So did the room ventilation/heating/air conditioning system which you cannot switch off. The small shower room was clean and OK. The wifi internet had good connection, but quite expensive at €5 per 30 mins.
On the plus side : friendly reception staff, lifts to all floors, excellent breakfast with wide choice of food from cooked breakfast to fresh fruits, and only a 10-min walk to the town centre.

My room was bright and clean. It had two twin beds and a double futon that I hadn't asked for, so the futon just took up space.

The breakfast was good. So was the service.

There is no wired or wireless Internet in the rooms. The guestbook suggests to use dialup or to go to the business center.

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is about 5 minutes away from the Water Tower and 30 minutes from the Palace.
