Most hotels in Mannheim are overpriced, and this hotel is no exception. I stayed here for 5 nights and, part from Sunday night, the price for a single room was EUR 114 (which included EUR 13 for breakfast). There are several room categories and my room was a "single, comfort" category. The first room was towards the road and I requested a change. This was made without too much bother, and my room now faced the inner yard. It was a lot quieter, although there was still some noise from adjacent roads. The room itself was relatively small but adequate. It appeared to have been recently renovated and everything was new and clean. There was a small flatscreen TV and desk for working. Lighting was very good, something which can not be said about many hotel rooms, Internet is available throughout the hotel for free, but is slow and there were some dropouts. The bathroom is clean but very small. There's a sink, toilet and shower cubicle. Breakfast was adequare with a reasonable selection, but EUR 13? The hotel has parking at EUR 8 per night, but there is plenty of free street parking around the hotel too. The hotel has its own restaurant, althouigh I did not use it. It's a few minutes' walk to the city centre and there's plenty of choice there. All in all a hotel which served its purpose of providing a clean place to stay and at a price typical for Mannheim but overpriced for anywhere else.
