At the extreme end of the Altstadt close to nothing in particular one would want to see.
Standard rooms are dark, dingy and overlook a busy main road.
My room had a cooker with crockery and cutlery provided but nothing to cook in so I'm not sure what the point of that was.
The cooker cut into space meant for the bathroom, meaning that one had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower.
My room wasn't cleaned on 1 of the days that I was there (perhaps they forgot, perhaps they couldn't be bothered) and the wake-up call I'd asked for didn't happen.

I won't be staying here again. The bathroom - specially the shower area is so small that you would wonder how to avoid hitting the walls! The lights in the rooms are quite dull and strain your eyes! Even though it brags on the websites that the kitchenette is equipped, you have only your stars to thank if you can get even a basic kitchen knife! Bring your own travel iron if you need to stay for a longer duration.

In summary I would describe this place as hotel where many thoughts and action went into it when refurbishing it - but within a quite limited budget. Reasoin for staying there was - that no room was available in a hotel I would normally stay in Mannheim. Happens once in a while and as a visit you learn that room rates vary accordingly and I caught a rate that In normally would have paid in other places when booking in advance ... and enjoy staying more.

The best thing - what is important - for me clearly was the sleeping comfort. Regarding the bed's mattress - the best one I have been sleeping on in a hotel since a looooong time. Booked into a comfort-room - with small pantry and microwave - the room is fully furnished ... but not in impressing quality. The bathrom was clean and veeeeeeery small, but it is possible to turn around. But not much more than that. Could not use the balcony, the view to the courtyard wasn't that exciting.

Decided to take dinner on the terrasse in the courtyard and experienced a very attentitave and friendly waitress, but lille above average food quality. Steak wasn't really medium, more well done, and somehow the plastic sacks with ketchup and mayonaise for me somehow destroys the atmosphere. Call me picky and difficult ... Usually I order room service for breakfast, but as there was no order slip in the room, I did not call reception to check if this service is offered. Why not take breakfast in restaurant, was my thought. Well - I found the answer the next mnorning. Went for breakfast, but decided to skip it. The buffet looked great, but the restaurant can't cover the number of guests at peaktime. Understaffed for peak hour you either don't find a place because someone is having breakfast or the place isn't cleaned up yet. That's the point when one realises that one elevator is not enough as well, but find out the stairway is decorated quite nicely..

May be I am little too critical today, somehow I feel it is definitely on the edge to "good". With my experience tnhis time I just can't put the mark there. May be next time.

In Germany This is Very Good Hotel , in Which All Rooms are service room and No Smoking room also avilable , IIn this Hotel Morning Break fast is very good , Very good food , All my COmpany people from INDIA stays in this hotel, Room are vrey clean , Room service also very good.
