Positives - for a big city the free hotel parking was safe and hotel in a safe area . park/zoo opposite nice , 5 mins to station. clean and all usual big hotel perks.
Weekend rates prvide a good price (60 euro for a room for 3)

To consider - breakfast is the biggest rip off of any hotel I have used at 20 EURO EACH (hence my low value score) !!!
They had a coach party in the resturant making a huge noise as they prayed as a group(I have nothing against relious groups - just the noise level from this group in the middle of a hotel restuirant) worse than a party of football fans after alcohol. Nobody bothered to point out noise level from hotel staff .
No milk in room had to chase from receptionm to resturant and ask twice to get more than a couple of milks .

Overall with weekend rate and for a stop over was a good choice just a shame you need to get a breakfast somewhere else (station has lots of options)

I was part of a large tour group which is the only reason I think people would go to Karlsruhe cause there ain't much to do in Karlsruhe. I reckon this hotel was a cheaper option than a hotel in Baden Baden or Spier which was where we went exploring.

The hotel was ok, the decor was very 1970's, esp in the bedroom (dark green tiles in the bathroom). But it was overall a pleasent place. Nice food and the staff were pleasent. Clean. Its about a 5 min walk into the town (that was a slow pace cause it was very warm).

Hotel was ok for a base for exploring.

The hotel is near a tram station, not far from MARK PLATZ.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and price can get very low on weekends (55-70 Eu).

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

Older clean hotel, good prices, easy walk from train station, then short walk to tourist area. Tram stop out front.
