We have stayed here on quite a few occasions en route travelling from Prague to our home in France. Car parking was an issue the first time we stayed there but now every time we book they automatically reserve a space for us under the hotel. Rooms are excellent. Spacious and comfortable with good facilities. Good location and easy to find. The Italian restaurant just down the road is excellent and the hotel breakfast are also excellent with a great variety of freshly cooked food, beautifully presented.

I've stayed here a few times on business and always enjoyed it. The rooms are nice and clean and the brewpub has delicious beer and food.

The internet connection (included in the room rate) is good too, but bring a network cable (not wireless).

We loved the location... a short walk up to the old castle, and a short drive to the hub bub of downtown Karlsruhe. The best of both worlds. The rooms were immaculate, and the breakfast was very good.

I stayed here for one night with my wife and our 2yo child. We were travelling through from the UK to Switzerland. We chose it mainly because of the parking... and guess what? When we arrived they told us that the parking place we had booked was actually not available. I was invited to use instead some public car park a few minutes away. After some complaining they did dig up a parking spot for me after all. But not a good start, but the rest of the stay was mainly fine. The room was a good sized room, clean and airy. Mini bar selection was ok. Internet was only through a cable in the room, but it didn't work for me. I couldn't find a room service menu, and I suppose there was none. The bed was not very big for two people but we slept ok. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good, fresh and with a good selection (the price of EUR7 per person was also excellent). My suggestion to anyone considering this hotel: (1) check the size of the bed carefully with the hotel before booking, (2) if you need parking, check to make sure they actually have a spot for you, (3) check that internet access actually works. Other than that, all good! :)
