“Nice hotel with kitchenette for a great price”

We went on a road trip on an extended weekend and Karlsruhe seemed to be the place to spend the night. Delayed plans meant we ended up checking-in at 1:30 AM (in the night). The staff was available and was courteous. We found free street parking also right in front of the hotel.
The rooms were sufficiently big, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette meant we could re-heat our leftover food and make coffee in the morning. No noise, no mess.
A good hotel to stay in for a night.

“Right place for a right price.”

As I said this is right place for the reasonable price. I got a huge room with well equipped kitchen, gas, teapot, oven, fridge. Not too much amenities but everything was clean and fixed. There was even the second room with single side bed, but I didn't use it. Excellent choice for long term accommodation and families.

I stay in Karlsruhe for business 5 or 6 times a year. As a regular traveler I realy liked the following

The rooms are more like apartments than hotel rooms, the access is throgh a typical building entrance, not a hotel lobby.

The staff are friendly and helpful, most speak english.

There is a kitchenette in evey room

The laundry facility is convenient

The location is great, walking distance to downtown attractions

The rooms are a bit shabby, some carpets need replacing and the furniture is old, but everything works and is clean & tidy
