Reasonably priced. 5 walk to town centre. Clean, Friendly staff. I would stay there again.

Hotel is well located, a little bit out of Heidelberg main street. Breakfast is perfect, but costly, so if it is included into the rate - get it happily. Rooms are a little bit out-dated, but still acceptable. Staff seems to be rather friendly but not really helpful, I asked them to help with car rental company, but hotel staff were far out of help. Anyway, hotel has good value for money and could be recommended for tourists and businessmen as well.

Three adult members of our family met and used this hotel. It is well placed for visiting the sites of Heidelberg by foot. Clean and cheerful. Excellent front desk staff. Do not partake of their over priced breakfast. The same quality fare can be had for 3-5 EURO across the street and down a block.

My husband and I stayed here along with 4 friends for a couple of nights while seeing Heidelberg. We found the rooms to be spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the city from our window. The air conditioning was nice to have as well. We needed to contact someone who didn't speak much English and the front desk was very helpful in making the call for us a couple of times until the line was no longer busy and communicating for us since we don't speak German. The location of the hotel was nice, not far from the main street, about 30 minutes from the cable car to the castle. The bus was also convenient from there and there was a nice little organic grocery store just two stores down where we got breakfast and snacks. We also rented bikes and found a place on the same street and same side of the street about two blocks west called Radhof Bergheim. It was not well advertised but had lots of bikes and for only 6 euros with a 50 euro deposit which was much much cheaper than the other places. The bikes were really nice and not the standard matching ones that scream tourist! It was a great way to see the town.
