this is a good value ,clean hotel ,rooms are good size even with 3 adults sharing . 6 euros for a buffet breakfast with plenty of choice .there is a bus stop 100 yards up the road to take you into to town,or you can walk 10 minutes up the hill to get tram no. 5 which takes you right into the city centre, 5 euros day ticket ,so it is not 45 minutes away as a previous post said,i think they must have got lost. There are some great bars in city centre the best for food and drink Martinbrau brewery/beerhall? which is down a side street by the arches where the tram tracks are ,upstairs from this is the market hall which is just full of different types of food stalls chinese,indian,mexican,brazilian,italian,argentinian,german of course.Great city to visit so much so i am taking my wife in december to visit the christmas market

We stayed at this hotel during our visit to the Christmas market. This hotel is wonderful if you have a car. It is a 45 minute commute into town on public transit, but only 10 minutes by car. We have 3 small children and always have difficulty finding a large enough room to accommodate us all. This hotel met all our needs. The room was large enough to accommodate 5 beds! The staff was wonderful. I'm not sure that all staff spoke English, but the young girl that greeted us, was very kind and helpful. Our room was facing the front. We did not notice any noise. Breakfast was plentiful. Great value for your money!

It is critical to know this beautiful hotel is far outside the main city, in the country, about 45 minutes using public transport (one change). My friends and I were caught by surprise, but luckily we were driving.

That said, I was in the new wing, and my room was gorgeous. Really luxurious with incredible, posh style. Very spacious with fantastic bathroom. I had a balcony facing the garden and hills out back (rooms on the other side faced the highway). It was so beautiful I forgave my friend who booked it (and was led to believe it was central).

Unfortunately, my friends stayed in the pension wing to save money, and were not happy. It was just adequate. I only rubbed it in a little.

The owners are very helpful and friendly, but they misled my friend on the initial booking.

The hotel is right across from a Walmart, so we bought food and wine, and had dinner on my balcony. It was a very different experience than we expected, but it was good to get out of cities.
