I loved this hotel! The room was comfortable and by itself would rate a 3.5 to 4.0 rating, but it was the staff that made this hotel so much more. Everyone at the front desk and in the restaurant treated me as if I was their most important guest. They were always most helpful, courteous and friendly. I travel extensively and would have to say this is the best hotel staff I have ever encountered.

We stayed here after hiking through the Schwarzwald for two days (and staying at two youth hostels). What a lovely hotel! The staff is friendly and courteous and treated us like we were regular guests. They were especially nice to our children. Good food in the restaurant.

Rooms were comfortable and larger than the standard European hotel rooms. Lovely pool, Kegelbahn (bowling alley), and others. Wonderful terrace for dining and drinks.

Right behind the monastery ruins, walking distance to everything in town, including the train station.

Great place to have a family reunion.
Location, facilities, service and management attention were all perfect for our group of 80+ family members.
The family members came from six countries (three continents) and all were very pleased with choice of a meeting place.
