We stopped at the Hotel Adler on route to the Alps from the UK. Arrived lateish and had no problems with getting a fantastic meal although the menu needed to be translated into English for us :) The room was one of their more expensive but had a large ensuite and good facilities. 70's/80's decor topped it off for us reminding us of a grandparents house :)
Good value for money. Would definately stay again and recommend it to others.

Very simple decent furnished rooms, with radio and tv, toilet on the floor, some rooms with shower on floor for sharing. Quiet. Near train station and next to bus station with busses running directly to Baden-Baden Center every few minutes. Small Breakfast buffet. Adler has only a few parking places - not enough. Restaurant with good home-style cooking.

I had been several times by Adler. Most the time it was okay, twice I had been very disappointed because of the bad cleaning - stores, carpet or shower should be realy taken more care! I also suggest a second and larger pillow for the beds.

Very conveniently located approximately 5 minutes walk from the main train station was my reason for this place of stay, this family run hotel charges reasonable rates with a bar/ restaurant serving decent fare. Rooms are very 1980's decor (eg. advocado green bath suite) but clean, with TV, telephone and even a shoe shine machine. Continental breakfast served is adequate but with limited choice, but can't complain for the price. Suitable and recommended for travellers on a shoestring budget. Bus Stop into the city centre is just across the street and takes only 10 minutes. There are also several banks nearby. Taxi rank by the station, fare to Baden Airpark costs around 25 euros.
