Our overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The location is right in the center of Baden-Baden and everything is within 10 mins walk. This is a major point point especially in the cold months. Our check-in was very fast and smooth. Thanks to Ramona but we had dealings with all the personnel at the counter in various shifts and everyone without exception was very professional, polite and eager to help (they also provide you with towels if you head for Caracalla Therme). The room itself was was nice and spacious (room 204) and very clean and had a balcony. Breakfast had many options (try the different breads, they are delicious), the service also was impeccable. An extra plus at this hotel for the Davidoff Lounge, where smoker can relax and enjoy a smoke without disturbing anyone. There is also room for improvement: internet does not connect in all rooms (in ours did not) for a smartphone like BlackBarry because the signal from the router is not strong enough. However, you can move in any of the lounges inside the hotel for a perfect wi-fi connection. Another thing which does not alter my overall judgment whatsoever, is that the shampoo complimentary bootle was not refilled when the room was made. However, we were very pleased with this hotel and no doubt we will book it again to stay in Baden-Baden.
