“We were very happy to be there!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Good points: Nice big car park , nice decorations in hotel, kind staff, nice swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool , easy to get into town , nice bath in room and big balcony.
Bad points: have funny curtains which do not cover the windows, very old tv and funny remote control you have to push hard to change channel , no free water , wifi in room only for 1 hour then have to get new username/password.

“Great place for us and our puppy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

My husband, his brother and myself visited Baden-Baden this fall and were looking for a nice hotel that we could take our puppy. Best Western exceeded our expectations. We had to wait a little while before the room was ready; however, in the room were food and water bowls on a doggy mat as well as a beef stick treat for our furry friend. Also, the room had a balcony which is our puppy's favorite place to hang out. We lounged around in the chairs outside by the pool and the puppy got to play fetch around the grassy area. The only downsides (and the reason this gets a 4 and not a 5) was it was a good distance from the city center (and the train station) and the naked people in the public showers! We have learned to accept this as part of the European culture since we have been travelling around - but we did want to warn other tourists! We really enjoyed our experience at this hotel and will most likely stay there again if we return to Baden-Baden.

“Ok hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011 via mobile

Friendly service. Tired upholstery , low ceilings, surprisingly little hot water for a spa town. Next time will try town centre hotel.

“great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

stayed here for 10 days on my first visit to baden-baden based largely on the reviews on tripadvisor. smart move!! yes, it was located abit out from the main tourist area but it was a beautiful 10-15 minute walk along the oos river or an easy bus ride if you don't feel like walking. while the hotel may not look like much from the outside it's clean and fairly modern on the inside. the room was large and comfortable, had a nice balcony with a scenic view, and was kept spotless by the cleaning staff. if you like to take baths you'll love the long deep tub as much as I did. there was a nice pool, sauna, and exercise room downstairs that was never crowded and though I ate in a variety of places in town the best meals I had were in the hotel's restaurant.(be sure to make reservations---and confirm them) service was fast, friendly, and efficient and the food delicious. (I'm a Cordon Bleu and CIA grad so I know what good food is) free wi-fi is only good for an hour a day (you can pay extra if you need more time) but a free computer is available to use in the lobby. the front desk staff always was very helpful and while the buffet may seem abit expensive it was pretty extensive and worth it. it was extremely quiet at night and all in all I had an excellent stay and would recommend this place to anyone and will be returning there myself next time I'm in Baden-Baden.

“very nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

Very large, comfortable room, quite clean. Nice balcony. Great breakfast buffet. Nice sauna, steam room, etc. downstairs. Internet included in the room rate.

The train station is some distance from town and the hotel: take bus 201 towards Lichtental, go past the Russian Church, get off at the Falkerstrasse stop, walk back a little and turn left.
