Unlike the previous reviewer, I have nothing bad to say about Les verdets. I spent the whole of the 2010/11 season staying here. An extremely good location, off road parking etc. The caretaker more than helpful with any little issues. Yes the rooms are on the small side but more than attiquate for 2 in an apartment for 2/4 people. Yes there are a lot of seasonaires living there as it is so very cheap but you do get what you pay for. it is not a 5* spa hotel.
Oh yes, and as somebody who is over 50, I had a great time there.

talked to some of them this i where you stay as a worker because it very cheap and they can have in room partys every night no staff in this hotel it is run from a differant location food in the hall ways up the walls seems to be the thing to have food fights most of the lights dont work but the room was ok with enough space for 2 any more it would be cramped you have to get your beding from a hotel down the road and take it back at the end of your stay not good when it snowing wet beding 1 electric heater in the room it was warm when i stayed so didnt need much heat but no where to dry wet things
£250 for a week with flight and trans is good value but shows how much the hotel is worth £80 for a week
Dont stay here children it would not be appropriate noise, partys, foul language shouted all the time . I stayed with a mate we can look after our selfs thats fine but i would not take my kids here.
also it in a good location quick walk to lifts 5 mins the le fornet bar is under the hotel this is a good bar fair price for a drink, pool table, live bands ,sports tv and free wifi

As for Val d'Isere i have stayed lots of times over the years the ski area it perfect as good as it gets this is why i keep going back
But the town what a over hyped DUMP with ripoff shops dog [--]? allover the foot paths most of it is run down falling to bits bad food in most places bars that you would not goin at home people who are not very nice
for lads holiday its ok and the skiing makes up for anything else
when my wife and kids come skiing i go elswhere would not take them to val disere its just to rough i would compare it to Blackpool in the uk old and run down thinking it something it's NOT.
but again i must say ski area it perfect
so to sum up this hotel is ok for a very cheap lads ski trip in a good location and they let dogs in but would not take kids or lady somewhere like this
