I stayed here after organising a trip to Lyon at quite short notice, for a conference. I found the hotel OK, after a walk from the Perrache station. It is down a very bland side street, with an inconcpisuous entrance. There is a small grocery market very close by, and the hotel itself is close to Bellecour, and also close to the medieval town, just across the river. There is a free bike station just at the end of the street, and another one close by in Bellecour.
When I arrvied the elevator was out of action, so had to carry a quite heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs. This was fixed the following day. I asked for an iron and ironing board, as I had to present a paper to the conference the next morning, only to be told the hotle had no iron! The reception person did eventually find an iron, but no ironing board. The toilet seat was loose, but that was fixed, unlike the light above the kitchen bench, which never functioned during my stay.
The hotel does not have free Wifi, which is, in my view, a serious drawback. They did have access cards for sale at the front desk, but at extortionately expensive prices.
The furniture and fittings were quite tired, but clean. I was only ever given one towel, and the kitchenette was oddly equipped.
Overall, the hotel was OK, but only just. I felt it was quite expensive for the fairly basic level of service and fittings etc.
