I also had an issue with price of booking. I booked in Nov 06 through a booking website and arrived in Sep 07 being told that an email had been sent and price had changed. Price was more than DOUBLE and email was sent only 24 hours before check-in, which I didn't see and in any case is too late to change to alternative accommodation, especially during Rugby World Cup.
It was a shame as the location is in a good location, walking distance to train/bus/train and old town. Reception staff were friendly and did all they could to alleviate the issue but we did still end up paying double original confirmed price - a little more notice of price increase would have been appreciated.
