We usually stay in 5 star establishments,however due to the location & trip advisor faith fulls say so,we gave it a go!
What a pleasant surprise, very helpful English speaking staff,quirky Bedroom & bizarre pool!
Located between the 2 rivers & access to everything you could need.
If you love food you must do the Halle de lyon Paul Bocuse,the ballotta ham & a small coffee opposite the Seve patisserie are a must,your tastebuds go mental for 2 hours afterwoods.
Stick to the Bouchons, le Musee was superb,this is coming from 2 Chef lecturers who can now cross this trip off our bucket list. Enjoy

We recently stayed here whilst passing through Lyon and we really pleasantly surprised. This is a great little hotel, lovely rooms, clean and beautifully decorated. The pool looked nice, next time I'll bring my shorts!!!

We stayed in superior rooms which can substitute rooms in 4 star hotel. The hotel is located close to the metro station and main Lyon’s attractions. The hotel has a friendly staff. A small pool allow you to color you stay.
But not everything was so good. We didn’t like thin walls and moderate breakfast. One small lift is not always sufficient for the whole hotel. A smell of an old hotel follows you in the rooms.
So make your choice!

This hotel has a great location in the heart of the city and gives you a great Lyonais experience. The decor is slightly eccentric but characterful and it was a comfortable stay.
Staff were friendly and the bar had a nice (if quiet) atmosphere.

Negatives:
The door to our room was 3 feet from the elevator and the noise of people using and waiting for the elevator was quite intrusive. The room was pretty small for the price we paid, and the reason for us to be in the city was the Beaujolais Nouveau festivities which the hotel staff knew nothing about despite it being a big event in the city.
