Hotel is well located and close to the banks of the Rhone and the city centre. But in the middle of July no aircon (it worked only on setting 30C) and no fan were really bad news.....especially when your room ventilation consists of only one tiny window which opens out to a view of another hotel. Oven nights in Lyon. Breakfast was so-so and service borderline.

This hotel is not the one you see on the most far left picture here, but the other pictures are correct. It's very central, takes about 10 minutes to walk to the heart of Lyon - Place Bellecour.
It's also very near the Rhone Piscines, open spring-summer, so it doesn't matter really that the hotel doesn't have a pool!
I think the rooms were good.
very small, but I don't really mind that, it's the same everywhere in big cities at hotels at this price range.
It was neat and clean.
Take breakfast somewhere else because they charge 12 Euros per breakfast. And judging by french style "petit déjeuners" (croissant and jam) , it's just not worth it.

The "gym" is really poor, in a small dark store room-esque place.

They do have a sauna which looked nice. Since I went in July I felt no urge for sauna though;)

What's great about this is the location.

This hotel is a value for the great location (just across the Rhone from the city center). The hotel is a bit dingy and dated but the staff is friendly and it is at least 50-100 euros cheaper than every other hotel in this central area. The bed in 510 was more like a hammock.

This was our first stay that this hotel but we have stayed in other hotels in the area. The location is great - only a few minutes walk from some fabulous Lyonnaise bistros. The room was large and the staff were very friendly.
