The hotel is very basic - tiny room with no minibar, no safe deposit.
My shower had a very unpleasant odor during my entire stay there (the hotel, as well as the city, was completely fully booked, so there was nothing they/I could do).
Surprisingly they have complimentary internet access from the room.
Breakfast is the typical French offer.
The location itself isn't nice at all, though walking for about 20 minutes you can get to the nice parts of the city. However, you'll have to pass through (or under - the less recommended option) the Perrache train station.

Hotel was in a quiet street, but only 5 minutes from the railway station. There was a tram stop at the end of the street, but to get to the centre, you had to change onto the Metro.
There is now no easy parking around the hotel as Lyon has just imposed parking restructions in the area.
If you are going to use public transport, get a day ticket, it is much cheaper.

not particularly impressive, the room is ok for a short stay, the room is in medium size and the bed is soft, location is not bad, which close to the bus station that go to airport.

It would not have been my first choice of locations to stay in Lyon but it is not too difficult once you have got used to passing through or under Perrache. The tram is useful and it is not far from an amazing array of mdern architecture. The rooms are fine, although not appreciably better than you would get at a good 2 star hotel. The restaurant was good but had somewhat erratic opening hours. Some re-decoration was taking place in a leisurly fashion - the wet paint signs remained constant and there was no progress in laying a new carpet in the lift lobby during the week I was there.
