This is the worst hotel I know in Lyon. For 70 € a day (I stayed 4 days), I got a very small room which was incredibly dirty, the carpet and the walls were full of stains. The bathroom was similar, furthermore with a lot of dust, the washbasin didn't hold on to the wall, and was supported by a stool with some books on it. The breakfast was correct, but was free, which means you don't have the choice to not take it and, don't dream, you have to pay for it.

Not for the claustrophobic. Rooms are VERY small but this is a very old building. Staff are a delight, breakfast is fine, bed was comfortable and clean, plumbing worked and so did lift.
No air conditioning but electric fan. No view at back of building but I suspect that the rooms at the front could be like ovens -given that the sun beats on them all day. The central location makes this place ideal for a short break.

Oh my god ! What can I say, avoid this hotel like the plague !!! Situated down a seedy little side street in Lyon. This is without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in (and I include some ver y dodgy Youth Hostels). The room was filthy, there was dust everywhere and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years. The inside of the room was extremely basic, and the view from the window ? What view, you look directly onto the side of the building next door - so close you could touch it. Dark, dingy, and the bathroom, try pubes round the shower head ! That's how dirty this place was.

Resonable price, quiet, friendly people.
