Shabby, old, dark, poor lighting, cracked basin, nasty stain on toilet bowl, staff rude, if one wanted the room making up you will be charged 20 euros a day, what sort of hotel is this? We chose NOT to have breakfast, and as well we did, after seeing the poor selection for a sum of 9euros a person.the room was warn enough alas no control IF you wish to turn down the heating, although it's not summer, there was no A/C.
For the price we paid it was poor, we visited a few other hotels in Lyon whilst we were there and there are plenty for the price we paid and FAR BETTER>>>>>>>>DON'T STAY HERE>>>>>>>.

it was jmy first experience with the ''citadine'' hotel type.
It was very nice!
Great location, a very good services, one minute walk to a grocery.

just one thing, no Air conditioner... :s but it was ok, as i had a big window !

We were there in September 2011. Good location, good pricing. Unfortunately, no air conditionning. We were forced to keep the bedroom window open. Right under the window, a street gang were dooing there business till 3 am. Non stop yelling and car traffic plus the extra loud music...
The hotel management were well aware of the problem and the encouraged the paying customers to call the police in the middle of the night...We told them that they should do it themself, that it's very bad for there business. The answer was ' NO'.
An other point was when we came back at night, after supper. we had to pass in front of gang. Not a pleasant experience.

Bad Bad Bad!!!
Location was good because I wanted a room near Gare Lyon Part Dieu but that was it.
No A/C made it sleeping impossible and the room was filthy it needs a complete refurbishment.
Free Wired internet worked once. No wi-fi in the room only in the lobby.
Dont waste your money here - check Ibis round the corner it looked ok from the outside.
