it was jmy first experience with the ''citadine'' hotel type.
It was very nice!
Great location, a very good services, one minute walk to a grocery.

just one thing, no Air conditioner... :s but it was ok, as i had a big window !

We were there in September 2011. Good location, good pricing. Unfortunately, no air conditionning. We were forced to keep the bedroom window open. Right under the window, a street gang were dooing there business till 3 am. Non stop yelling and car traffic plus the extra loud music...
The hotel management were well aware of the problem and the encouraged the paying customers to call the police in the middle of the night...We told them that they should do it themself, that it's very bad for there business. The answer was ' NO'.
An other point was when we came back at night, after supper. we had to pass in front of gang. Not a pleasant experience.

Location was good because I wanted a room near Gare Lyon Part Dieu but that was it.
No A/C made it sleeping impossible and the room was filthy it needs a complete refurbishment.
Free Wired internet worked once. No wi-fi in the room only in the lobby.
Dont waste your money here - check Ibis round the corner it looked ok from the outside.

The Hotel is very old but rates are similar to other in Lyon. Even though the system is the same as in other hotel of the Citadines chain there are some aspects that are not good, expecially for the French 3 stars category: very old and unconfortable beds, a very small breakfast, the time when reception is open (some friends arrived late in the night and they had serious problems to get the key of the room), a not good Internet access.
