Our second stay here, and very good indeed. Although not centrally located in Lyon, perfect for us as we arrived by train at lyon perrache, which is 1 min walk away. Also we know our way around Lyon, and love to walk the route up to Bellecour and beyond, but the Perrache Metro, buses and Trams are all within a few mins walk as well.
The hotel is an old hotel, stylish, beautiful decor and styling. The service on reception was very good. We booked a large room with antique furniture which was on the corner of the building so we had windows on two sides. The only problem was the Family next door who were so noisy, kids running around, shouting and screaming. The room had a locked (but interlinking) door between the rooms, and at 11pm we had had enough. We rung reception and explained and they offered us a change of room, so we packed up and went down for the keys. On arrival at reception they gave us a suite which was lovely. no further problems.
Breakfast was brilliant, served in the huge, dining room with high ceiling.
A nice touch is the complimentary "daily newsletter" in all languages from many countries, giving you news form your country.
Would definately retun here for a 3rd visit.
