The best think for this hotel is the location. It is very near to city center, only 5 minutes walk. The only advantage of this hotel is that it is cheap. There are not internet connection and room service.

Creepy hotel! Hair in bathtub, no hangers in closet, very spartan conditions. Last straw came on first day there--paid for internet but could only access in the lobby. Made a reservation at another hotel for that same night, for our remaining stay in Grenoble. I advised the attendant that I would forfeit 1 night's reservation charge, but expected a full refund of the other 4 nights. The refund never came, despite emails to the manager.I also contacted the Grenoble tourist bureau for help. Nothing.

Nice place to stay if you want to save little bit money. In studios there is place to cook, fridge and microwave. Very near the train station and you can get tram almost to the door. Location after tram was little bit hard to determine but if you got to correct tram and stopped at right stop start going to the left aproximately 2 blocks and you are there! Hotel will send you info how to get there id you ask! Hotel also has wlan--wifi access but it is not free. Check -in can be done later if you ask from the hotel.
I did use breakfast because it was included to my room rate! It was nice normal french breakfast!

The hotel has brand new self contained studio apartments, with a kitchenette,fridge, tv and bathroom which are all very clean and tidy. Reception open till 6pm, the security is brillaint with swipe cards to get into the building. The area is nice, very central to the shops, there are plenty of supermarkets around to get food and a McDonalds if you fancy it around the corner.
If you are walking from the train/coach station it will take 15minutes to get to the hotel but if you can print out a map of grenoble first as we got a bit lost trying to find the tourist information centre as its not that close to the train/coach station.
i would definately return to this hotel it fulfilled all our needs!
