This hotel was definitely worth its stay. The staff was very nice and spoke a good amount of English. There was a small lift great for baggage, which was very helpful in getting everything up to the room. The rooms were pleasant, basic but clean and orderly. Like any European hotel, the rooms were on the smaller end, but it was definitely comfortable enough. The bathrooms were clean and functioning, and there was a fair amount of closet space.
The location was great, close to many shops and restaurants. It was a great area for walking around, especially at night, and exploring many of the different streets and courtyards of Grenoble, which I would definitely suggest to do while in Grenoble.
I would suggest getting a room facing the street, preferably with a balcony. It can be a bit noisier (though noise definitely wasn't a problem), but it's great for people watching while sitting out on the balcony. If it's good weather, keep the windows open and sit out on the balcony. It's fun to people watch and take in the sights of the city. We went to the breakfast one morning, it had a good assortment of food, nothing spectacular but it was all good. Overall, it was a great and modest hotel with a good staff and in a great area of Grenoble. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!
Room Tip: Rooms facing the street with a balcony are definitely more interesting and enjoyable.
