Me and my family (2 adults and 2 female teenagers) stayed here for a week.
This tourist residence benefits of a very comfortable location. It lays just right out (300 meters) from the city main street, out of the car traffic, aside the little river (the Arve), a few paces from the Auigulle de Midi funicular as well as from a commercial center supermaket and various shops and services.
The building is in a quite good state, the apartments are confortable, notwithstanding the simple furnitures. The corridors and the common spaces could be more luminous.
First night, we had a ground floor apartment, a little too dark and cold, and it was (luckily) replaced by a fourth floor apartment with a little balcony and an astounding view on the mountains (Mount Blanc, Aiguille de Midi).
Noticeable the presence of a dishwasher.
The sofa beds could be more confortable (and are a little too noisy).
Staff is quite gentle and helpful (they promptly changed our first apartment), even though they are not present all day (reception is open in certain hours). Quite surprisingly, no italian language is spoken although Chamonix is just over the border...
Parking is available (with a separate charge), but it was full at our arrival. So I opted for the near (50 meters) Parking d'Entreves at almost the same price (weekly fare) with the Ospitality Card.
Internet connexion (free wi-fi) is available only in the reception area and in the small relax space.
Price/quality ratio is definitely fair, if one does not expect too much.

Four of us staying here for 5 days. When we saw the room, we didin't like it especially we paid for a room for 5 people to stay. I was 4 months pregnant, the room with steep and tiny stairs was damgerous for me; however, when I went to the reception asking for another room, one of the receptionist wearing glasses looked at my bump, she said to her colleage "she is not pregnant" HOW RUDE WAS SHE!!!!!!!! It's not my fault to have a little bump!!!! That was totally pissed me off. They told me it was full and I have to pay another 80ish euros for changing the room, that was totally unacceptable. Because, it was very low season!! Fine, we took the room and we stayed. This is our first time to staying in this kind of apartment, we borrowed the hairdryer and toilet paper, the receptionists were very rude.
We would never ever recommend this apartment!!!

My partner and I stayed in a self-catering apartment here for a week. It worked out at £280 for both of us for the week which I think is incredible value. It was clean and fresh, we used the fold out bed which wasn't too bad. The kitchen was adequately kitted out and the balcony was a handy little sun trap, especially lovely for eating on in the evenings.
Our only issue was that when we arrived at 1230pm the reception was closed, it's opening hours that day were 8am-12pm and 4pm-8pm. We were provided with a number on our reservation to use when the reception was unmanned but this just told us the opening hours and there was no way to contact anyone so we were left with 7 bags of luggage (80kg with ski equipment) to carry around so we had to sit in a restaurant for 4 hours.

This was a very good apartment, we got a great last minute deal so had an apartment for seven amongst the three of us! It was clean and modern looking, and great views of the Alps from the balcony and had appliances such as a fridge-freezer, TV, dishwasher and coffee maker. There was a lounge and dining area and table and chairs on the balcony. It was right next to a stop for the ski bus, and as it was one of the first stops there was always space to grab a seat first thing in the morning!

I would recommend bringing your own big bags, towels, toilet paper, tea towels and bath mats with you as these aren’t provided! Bed linen is provided. I know the place is self-catering but I did sort of expect these things to be included! There is a Spar supermarket a two minute walk away however, and a couple of ‘Casino’ chain supermarkets nearby as well that seem cheap enough for food and drink so no worries there.

The is also a 40 Euro charge for cleaning the apartment if you choose not to do it yourself, there is a vacuum cleaner in the apartment and as long as you pick up after yourself throughout the week, cleaning up is easy enough so why pay out the extra money?

Spacious and comfortable, great for just chilling out in after skiing and before going out for the evening.
