I stayed at this hotel in May 2011 on account of the good reviews on TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed. The hotel is located within 10 minute walking distance from the train station and 3 minute walk from the old town. Annecy is a town full of cobble stone streets. Mercifully, the streets between the hotel and the train station are smooth paved sidewalks. I had a room with double bed and private bathroom which came with a small balcony overlooking the street. It was surprisingly quiet for a room facing the street. The room was compact, clean, modern, and comfortable. The picture-perfect Annecy is too beautiful for words -- the walk-able old town, the beautiful lake side, the lively outdoor market, the elegant locals, and the vast selection of restaurants catering to every price range. The Monoprix 3 minute walk from the hotel has everything a traveler needs plus good selection of ready-to-eat food items. I would recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel based on previous reviews and was not the least bit disappointed. Nice rooms, friendly staff, fast internet. The breakfast was a good continental spread. If you are driving, you will have to park in a nearby garage though. Overall, a great value. It is close to Geneva too. Why pay 100-200 Euro more to lodge in Geneva when you can get the same in France at a better cost? Would recommend to friends and family. Make sure you reserve a room as it fills up.

This hotel is right in the center of things in Annecy. Very reasonably priced. The rooms are small, but what do you expect in a hotel in an old part of town at this price. Be aware that late night revelers might keep you up. But, you're in Annecy to have fun, so you why are you in your room sleeping?

We chose to stay at this hotel based on previous reviews. We found the hotel to be clean, well run, and in a great location. The staff were warm, accommodating, and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to friends.
