Lovely location with probably the best views of any annecy hotel. We knew that annecy isn't known for it's good hotels and spend a long time looking. Les tresoms is listed as a three star but we felt it was more like a decent four star. It had two good restaurants, a small but adequate spa. We probably had the best room in the hotel on the third floor, probably because we had kids and they wanted to keep us away from other punters, it was spacious with amazing views of the lake. We liked the location, it's an easy walk 15 minute walk down to annecy town centre. The only criticism was the car parking, there weren't enough spaces, they are currently doing minor building work to rectify this, I wouldn't let the building work put you off as it was discreet and quiet. In summary good value and great location

Booked this hotel after being sold on the idea of staying outide the town from various websites (including the reviews on tripadvisor). What you don't get told is that, if you haven't got a car (like us) you are in for a nightmare trek into, and back from Annecy. If you go by road (longer but slightly less steep) then the road surface is really bad - if you go through the 'forest' then it's really steep and dark (with a few suspicious characters with dogs lighting camp-fires right next to the path). Don't expect to get a taxi - it was imposible to find one!

The room was disappointing for the amount that we paid - very small and cramped and had a 'spectacular' view of the car park. There was no air conditioning and the shower was poor.

We could only eat in the restaurant for two of our five evenings as they were fully booked with a wedding party. Both restaurants were very expensive (starters from 30euro, mains from 60euro); however, they did do a chef's special each evening which consisted of three courses for 26euro each. this was very good value (we had lobster & fillet steak!) but I don't think it's something that they like to broadcast.

On the whole, we wouldn't stay in this hotel again as it's just too far out of the town if you haven't got a car.

This hotel & spa is situated high above Lake Annecy allowing panoramic views from many areas of the resort. Our room on the 2nd floor had a small balcony, nice size bed and plenty of space for your clothes.
Only problem was the bath room had a jacuzzi tub but no shower. American travelers are used to a shower so bathing was awkward.
The place had a nice size pool, indoor spa and huge patio area.
We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant that has windows to enjoy the sun setting across the mountains & village below.
Would definitely return and recommend this place.

Stayed at Les Tresoms (a *** hotel/spa) with my parents, aged 65-70 years. The location and setting were exceptional, and the reception service when we arrived was outstanding. Things went downhill from there.

The rooms were small and basically in a construction zone (they were upgrading the air-conditioning). Workers were all over the establishment, inside and outside. They really should have told us upfront that we'd be living in a work zone.

They "convinced" us to dine at their restaurant. It was overpriced and the service was appalling. We stayed at Relais/Chateaux hotels with 1-2-starred (Michelin) chefs where the food was more reasonably priced - including, for example, Lyon. The sommelier "assumed" we had no interest in completing a half-drunk bottle of fine Savoy white wine that we'd started in the lounge prior to dinner as an aperitif that could carry over into dinner.

I would not recommend Les Tresoms unless they get their act together, cut prices in their restaurant, and generally upgrade their service and value proposition.
