This is a typical 3-star hotel in France: clean, ok continental buffet breakfast selection (€13.50 per person on top of the room price €95-€107) with late 80s decor. Our room had a double bed (140x190) and a single bed with a desk, 2 chairs and a mini bar. The elevator didn't work well. So, we often took the stairs instead.
The hotel lobby is exactly as pictured on their website (chic and modern) but the rooms have cheap but functional furniture. Some of the furniture has cigarette burns. We arrived late and it wasn't a problem because the hotel front desk is staffed 24/7. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, which stank of cigarettes. We asked to change rooms. We were given another room within 5 minutes on the same floor but it was fine.
They gave the both of us one hotel key card and informed us that they only give one per room(?!). Very annoying because we weren't together at all times.
Had some good and bad experiences with the hotel staff. I asked the receptionist to help me find a restaurant that was open late. She gave me a recommendation barely looking up from her computer screen (no eye contact with me) and was annoyed when I asked her for instructions on how to get there. On the other hand, the women who manage the breakfast service were friendly and helpful. The woman who serviced the room left it spotless.
Went for business and had no time to try to the swimming pool, sauna and hammam. The hotel charges €5 to rent robes. Parking is €11 per day. The restaurant connected to the hotel is highly rated but we ended up eating late and they stopped serving after 11pm.
Really appreciated the free WiFi access. The connection was great and unlimited. Most hotels in Europe charge for this. Easy to hookup to the service too.
