This isn't the Ritz by any means, nor even the Radisson (which is around the corner) so if you're looking for a place to lounge in the lap of luxury, this would NOT be it.
However, the staff is very friendly, the entry doors are locked in the evenings (so contrary to what the other reviewer wrote, there were not hooligans in the lobby) and only guests are given the access code. Laundry facilities are available to guests (3 Euros for the wash and 3,50 for dryer).
It's more of a long-term residential place but it suited our needs just fine. We were there to see Aix-Les-Bains, not stay in our hotel room 24/7.
It's also very central, which was great for us! A block or two away from the centre ville and also a 5 minute walk to la Gare.
So, they are simple accomodations. If you're used to and prefer nicer hotels, don't stay here. However, if you're having fun being a traveller and a good bed, bathroom, mini-kitchen and tv will serve you fine, then this is a great deal.
