Very basic and a bit tatty but for a 2* hotel what can you expect? Helpful reception staff gave us guide book and map. Excellent location - 15 mins walk to port and about 30 mins walk to beach area. Good shower though a bit on the small size and lumpy pillows. Air con and Fridge in room (a bit grubby but useful). Can't comment on food as didn't eat at hotel. For a short stay good value for money and the free parking was an added bonus.

The hotel is located on one of the ritziest streets in Marseille and also near a metro stop and Old Port area. The reception is friendly and was nice enough to offer complimentary hot chocolate to me and my friend when we came running in looking like drowned cats because it was pouring outside!
Though a word of caution, after 10PM, there was a TV channel that showed pornographic material, it was neither blocked nor was there any warning about the content. My friend and I were trying to find the local weather channel and were completely shocked. Also, our room had an air freshener that sprayed every 30 minutes, to which my friend was allergic to.
