“What an experience”

So well looked after, from the moment we arrived to the sad time when we had to leave.
This one night stay was for a special occassion and it was wonderful.
5star plus.
The food was out of this world, and we were able to sit out side and enjoy the sound of the Blue below.
Thank you to the team that made it all possible

“Stunning Views of Marseilles & a stone's throw from the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

We arrived through a narrow street to a discreet corner with a private parking space. It's all Porches, sports cars and convertibles here with no room for luxury sedans, so take note if you're planning to park your car and spend the night.

We stayed in Morgion, across from the main building where the restaurant is. Stunning views of the sunset/sunrise over Marseilles, ihome dock, Thierry Mugler amenities, rainshower, outdoor pool and WIFI throughout the hotel and restaurant—the place even has a resident Pug, chef Gerard Passédat's dog who's always around.

Service was excellent and thoughtful, as we hit the road for Montpellier, our luggages were loaded and we also got bottles of water to go before we could even ask.

Given the chance to do it again and splurge, we'd definitely be back.

Note: We went through quite abit of hassle with car rentals because of the peak summer season and the offices opening at odd hours or not at all. Highly recommend getting an Avis membership card for 80€ and you have unlimited mileage use for four consecutive days instead of going with pay as you go choices with limits on miles was way more expensive.

What a fab return. We were checked into the same room as last time much to my suprise. The food in the restaurant for dinner was again of the best quality, with excellent service.
The only negative I have to make is that breakfast is now self service,

“a little bit of heaven”

We stayed for one night during our two weeks staying at the foot of Mount Ventoux. The Beds were large and very comfortable. The bathrooms very well maintained with a fantastic rain shower in our bathroom.

The views are to die for.

We had the taster menu in the restaurant, every course was beautifully presented did not disappoint.

If you have a car larger than a mini do not try a drive to the car park, the entrance is very narrow.

I look forward to returning again soon.

“Disappointed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2006

We spent our last night in the area here, expecting it to be the highlight of the week. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed from the start. Access is very narrow by car - don't take anything too wide if you value your paintwork! We were greeted at the door by a barking bull terrier(?) which was intimidating.
The room (called Regain) was OK (if you like faux animal prints - we don't!), but was far from luxurious and overpriced, in our opinion, e.g no proper shower in the bathroom, only a hand held spray for hair washing. Overall the room was in need of new furniture and redecoration.
The restaurant decor also needs updating and, although the food was creative and of a high quality, even the "cheapest" menu was too much for us to fully enjoy, with too many flavours to take in. The staff, although helpful & friendly, were of the overly attentive sort, with plates disappearing as soon as the last mouthful was eaten. This meant that we felt rushed during the meal. The owner welcomed each diner, which was a nice touch.
In its prime, it was obviously the place to be, but it would take a serious refurbishment and a simplification of the menu to tempt us back again.
