Spectacular panorama view of the valley from the hotel; it is located just outside Joucas. Very romantic, quiet, french rustic, shabby chic elegance, a great place to get away from families with small kids and Americans. Mostly French guests in July. We loved sophisticated laid back Joucas with celeb artistic residents (movie director, sculptor...) also looking to get away from the tourists in neighboring towns. Check out the general store-outdoor cafe in Joucas. It is open all day serving inexpensive continental breakfasts and huge salads for lunch, the cafe has an amazing view! At the hotel we had a lovely large room with our own garden entrance, lounge chairs and a table surrounded by a huge hedge that gave us privacy, a view and easy access to the large cold water pool-not heated. There is a heliport located in a field in front of the hotel, for the jet set crowd. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive. A short drive to other Luberon Valley towns.
