We have stayed at Pavillon de Pampelonne twice now and have loved it both times. Peter and Alison are wonderful hosts and give it a really special feel. The house is stunning with individually decorated bedrooms - each with a personal touch that really makes you feel that you are staying with friends rather than in an impersonal hotel. The location is ideal - easy to get to St Tropez and yet away from the crowds and traffic and just a short stroll to the beach.

It is a beautiful property with extra large individual patios just outside the french doors of each bedroom.The huge swimming pool can be seen from the entry which first opens to a family room and then a porch with bar and seating to enjoy the view. Also included is a terrific breakfast at poolside. The hosts are Allison and Peter who immediately made us welcome and provided a full itinerary with the best recommendations for delicious food, fun shopping. It is a very friendly atmosphere and a place we feel we could visit again.

Words cant even describe what a fabulous place this is...but I will try! My boyfriend and I stayed here in Sept. 2010 and we were immediately welcomed with happy and relaxed faces, which makes you want to stay permanently. Alison, Peter and Spike gave us the run down and tour of the grounds which was more and more beautiful with each step. The pool area (looks out to the ocean) has lounges and dining. This is also where you have, what I deemed, "the best breakfast ever!" There is also a bar and lounge area with plenty to drink. Our room was facing the garden and it was perfect in every way....bed - comfy, shower - you wont want to get out, TV - plenty to choose from. You are also provided with all the necessities one could possibly ask for. My favorite - makeup remover pads! The beach is a beautiful walk of about 15 mins (depending on how much you drink). This place is literally a home away from home. It is paradise and the couple who own the Pavillon de Pampelonne, Alison and Peter, were so lovely and helpful. The staff was also a pleasure! I miss this place and everyone who made it a blast!

Having stayed in Peter and Alison Dow's residence on 3 occasions, it now feels like our own home in the South of France, and we cannot wait for our next visit. The rooms, the decor, the personal service etc are all as one would expect from a quality hotel, but it is the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that singles Pavillion de Pampelonne as exceptional. Add to this its magical location overlooking the Bay of Pampelonne, and you may never need to look for a holiday destination ever again!
