First time to St Tropez and so thankful that we find this hotel.
The location is perfect! It is right in the middle of everything.
Easy to find. Although the don't have a website but you can book through email.
They are very responsive to reply email.
Room is nice, clean, and spacious.
Bathroom is clean. However, there is no curtain for the bath in my room. Therefore some tricks to use the shower without flooding the bathroom.
Maybe they are more use to the bath than shower.
Reception is not 24 hr but you can ask for hair dryer before they leave for the day.
In fact, for the price we paid, this hotel is doing a good job in regards of the location, and quality of the room. As I know a lot of hotel in the area is quite expensive.

Last time I stayed here I said the Sube rocks (check out my previous review) and I stand by my original claim. It's right in the middle of the port, is clean, charming, rustic, and we had a lovely (and quiet) view over the courtyard. Of course it's also very good value by ST standards: we paid €160 per night for a twin room and Geraldine and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar on the first floor is the best place for an aperitif at sunset and we got hours of people watching pleasure! A demi pression (250ml beer on tap) will set you back €5 and you'll get free nuts and olives. I dread the thoughts of the family selling the place to some awful, soulless chain who'll start charging €400 for a room. Viva la Sube!

I have spent a week there in the beginning of July and it has been a very pleasant stay. The Hotel Sube is very charming, with a character and simply just the place to be in St. Tropez. The location is perfect - in the Vieux Port, very easy to find, minutes away from Place des Lices and pretty much close to everything.
I had a single ensuite room and it was surprisingly big enough (for Europe), very clean, with a/c (which helped tremendously with +35 t), tv, hot water (strong pressure! always a +) and a change of towels every day. The hair dryer and iron are available at the reception. There’s an elevator (total + even with a small suitcase). St. Tropez is a non-stop party, but I didn’t hear any noise, so ask for a room facing the village – no view but you get a good night sleep. The Bar at the hotel is a MUST - nice atmosphere, very characteristic maritime decor, just sit down and enjoy the view. The Moxito is good, it’s 13 Euros and you get chips, olives, nuts to go with it.

only one minus: they have to sort out the "wake-up call" problem. I asked on two different days two different ladies and they wrote the information down but both times I didn’t get it. I had my own alarm so I asked just to be on the safe side so I was OK but I am putting it in here for those who don't have an alarm or tend not to hear it :)

Do recommend it! Will come back!
