I have traveled to St Tropez for the past 3 summers and have found this hotel to be the best value in town. The hotel is lovely and quaint. It is clean, albeit old fashioned. The beds are low, rather hard and not at all luxurious. The finishing’s in the bathrooms are average. Our toilet was rather odd, it was a wooden throne. That said, the shower pressure was good and we were comfortable. Our room #35 had great AC and was in the back of the hotel that was extremely quiet at all hours. The pool area was nice, the dinner service around the pool in the evening was lovely (Le Patio) and the overall hotel service was very good. We used the concierge to make our beach club, restaurant and night club reservations in advance through email. Be sure to ask them to confirm the reservations the day of, we had some missing reservations but it all worked out.
The hotel is the perfect location and price vs. some of the surrounding hotels is the selling point. We walked to Le Port and to Le Cave Du Roy easily. The hotel also has an annex building called Le Y around the corner. The rooms here are also nice, but it feels more like an apartment complex that lacks a lobby or pool. You have to walk to use the main hotel, so stay in Le Yaca proper if it is available.
