After a friend recommended this hotel, we were looking forward to staying here and it did not disappoint. After spending a few days in Marseille, this hotel was a little haven a sheer bliss with some of the finest views of the gulf of st. Tropez. The hotel staff were excellent and spoke English very well (much better than my broken French). They were helpful with restaurants, parking and places to visit (and even a take-away pizza one night!). We stayed in a scrubland view room, which was an utter delight - we could still see the sea! We opted not to have the breakfast at the hotel, as we prefer to get out and sample the local delights (and the breakfast is quite expensive at 12 EURO pp). The setting for this charming hotel is just perfect, with beautiful gardens/flowers and a welcoming pool. It is easy to sit and lose hours whilst you read on the comfortable chairs around the pool! We played tennis at the hotel; the balls could do with being renewed (or was that my excuse as my girlfriend beat me again). Situated on a hill it is probably not ideal for those who find it difficult to walk, but it also has plenty of parking spaces for those who wish (but be quick to get a prime space at the front at night). Do visit Port Grimaud (10mins drive) and St. Tropez (30mins on a GOOD day) - a must for a taste of Italy and to watch the wanna-be celebs on the harbour front. I absolutely loved this gem of a hotel and would return tomorrow if I could. Please look at the photos I have put up, as I believe some of those currently up do not do this place justice, it is an amazing find.
