I stayed here one night as I was traveling between cities as it was close to the airport and I had a very good rate. I called the shuttle when I arrived and it was very prompt picking me up at the bus stop. At check-in, they told me the air conditioner in the hotel was broken and they were giving free wireless as compensation. I was given a room on the first floor with a view of the parking lot. The bathroom had an overwhelming smell of sewage that seemed to get worse as the day progressed. There were stains all over the walls, some of which were clearly water damage. I thought their food was significantly overpriced, so I walked a short way along the beach to a nearby restaurant (there are many to choose from) for a nice quality, but inexpensive dinner. It was a pleasant walk and the location of the hotel isn't terrible, but not as nice as the pictures on the website seem to show. Though they give you a choice in pillows, the mattress is very hard and uncomfortable. Sometime in the night, I awoke to the sound of mosquitoes buzzing in my ear. I quickly covered myself with the bedspread and pillows in attempt to escape them (considering there was no air conditioner, it was a very hot and uncomfortable option). Unfortunately, the next morning I had many large whelps from their bites, the scars of which still remain 2 weeks later. I've stayed at Holiday Inns in Europe before and have always had a pleasant experience, so I was greatly disappointed in the quality of this one. I was told it's mostly a stop-over spot for airline employees and the lack of care in the rooms clearly shows that. Very disappointed in this experience. I can't understand why anyone would actually choose to stay here if they had a choice.

I just red your comment posted on trip advisor further to your stay and I feel very sorry regarding the bad experience you have had with our property and I would like to appologize for the inconvenience.
It is true that the AC broke down for a few days at the end of September and unfortunately we were fully booked on this period.
The fact the AC went down, it is true that your room has suffered a leak problem due to the condensantion and I can only excuse myself once again for this technical problem.
Since your last stay in September we have changed the wall paper in this room and of course we have fixed as well the AC and leak problem.
I would be happy to give you a complimentary night if you would like to stay with us again in a near future, please get in touch with me directly to arrange that.
