I found the room to be a good size and came with a bath tub.

The location is good: across from a shopping mall, close to a variety of restaurants at the Port of St-Laurent du Var, and has easy access to Nice. Although close to the airport I didn't hear any airport noise.

Staff spoke some English and was very helpful.

Everything you would expect from a Novotel; nothing special, fancy or quaint, but nice, well kept and an excellent location for walks down the boardwalk of St. Laurent du Var, shopping at CAP 3000, visiting the old city of Nice by easy, cheap and fast bus service and great for early flights; free shuttle service to the airport!

To the many reviews on this hotel, I add that their helpfulness solved a crisis of my own making. We left the hotel on their van for the airport. Going through security, I realized I'd left my computer in the hotel room. We called the hotel immediately. They hadn't cleaned the room or found the computer yet, but they went to look and found it. They put it on the next van to the airport, dropped it at the airline desk and had the desk ferry it up to our gate....just in time as we were then boarding! Thanks to the hotel staff for their extra effort!

This was our second overnight stay at this hotel after a late evening arriving flight. We find it very good for this purpose. We called the shuttle bus from the telephone at the Information desk in Terminal 2, the cheerful young driver arrived within minutes, a short drive and we were quickly checked in. The room was perfectly adequate for this grade of hotel and on the south facing side we had a pleasant view of the outdoor pool and a glimpse of the sea about 400m away.

We did not eat at the hotel and it seemed a bit unclear at what time the restaurant closed in the evening. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey but my wife and I shared a continental breakfast served on time to our room. 1 breakfast sufficient for 2! On the previous occasion as some other reviewers did, we bought our breakfast in the nearby large supermarket, but closed on Sundays. Just time for a short stroll to the rather stony beach, before the hotel shuttle bus brought us back to the Terminal, dropping us off at the Hire Car centre. With its location, pleasant staff, shuttle and reasonable value, just the job for an overnight at the Airport, but we would be happy to stay a little longer at some time in the future.
