My wife and I visited Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat by flying to Nice and taking a taxi to the hotel, which was about half and hour away. We arrived to a really lovely welcome and a fantastic view of the sea beyond. The service at every juncture was ideal, and the food was heavenly. We were there out of season so the Michelin Star restaurant was not open, but the evenings we spent on the terrace easily made up for it. Well done Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat. We returned feeling refreshed and much better for our 4 days. Thank you Grand-Hotel.

We stayed at this hotel on our recent vacation after first staying at The Connaught in London and Le Crillion in Paris. We are lucking to be in the "money is no object" crowd and we were not in the least bit impressed with this hotel. The prices are a joke and the staff are not nice. I would certainly recommend choosing a different hotel.

With arrived in August sooo looking forward to our stay at this hotel as we had visited the hotel as dinner guests on previous visits to South of France where we have been staying in villas. As we travelling with only one of or children, we thought we would do hotels this year and stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel and location are beautiful. The rooms are smallish but also very beautiful. Fabulous indoor and outdoor fitness facilities/gym. Not great for children despite having a kids club. We found the hotel a bit stuffy... more suited to an 'older set' The food was average and sooo expensive! The bar area beside the restaurant is charming and they have most AMAZING jazz house band who play every evening. This was thee highlight for us. 3 young men playing jazz.... absolutely enjoying their music. It was great to watch. The pool was an arduous affair. We could never have loungers by the pool where we wanted. Instead we were taken down stairs to a quieter area which was not great for us to watch our 6 yr old. However, a bit of generous tipping of the pool men secured us our loungers the next day. Not very relaxing. Very expensive but not worth it.

Hotel du Cap-ferrat is the only hotel I would stay at while visiting this area. The area is over-developed, over-congested, and over-hyped! This hotel is located in one of the areas remaining that is still peaceful. Large, meticulously groomed gardens, stunning pool area, impeccable rooms and service. My one regret is that we spent time staying in Monaco-Hotel de Paris- and Eze-Chevre d'or- when we could have stayed at Hotel du cap and seen these places on day trips! Dinner on their terrace at their Michelin restaurant was magical.
