Close to Train station. More of a Hostel like hotel. Lots of college age groups. Noisy...not sure where they got the picture for the hotel, but ours didn't look anything like it. The breakfast was very nominal.

We waited for two hours to get rooms, evan though our tourist guide had made reservation two days before. We were group of 55 persons. Receptionist was smalling and looked so relaxed like it wasn't his job. He had an assistent but they were just gazing in pc monitor and said that we will get rooms in 30 minutes. But we get them after 2 hors. You can imagine how mad we were...

Rooms were with dirty red blankets, and i had to remove it from my bed. Floor had marks of turning off cigarets.
Our bathcabine made a problem to those below us. Wather had made a flood in their bathroom.

Food was dry, and there wasn't enough of it. Juice was made 99% of water.
I can't understand how this hotel can work when it has a lot hygienic isues to solve.

Just returned to NY from Nice and stayed at Azurea which was not bad. However, I wanted to pay my bill the last night, a balance of 168 euros and was mistakenly charged 1688 euros to my card and the hotel had no way of issuing a credit to me. After promises from the manager to transfer funds immediately to me I am still waiting and still no money has been credited to me.

Booked via the easyjet website, this is not a posh hotel (and they sometimes can be). However, it was clean and functional. I had a room on the sixth floor – lift as far as the fifth and walk, but no problem – and it was quiet. It was hot in Nice but the air-conditioning worked well and the provision of a small fridge in the room was useful for keeping water and the odd cold beer. I also used it to keep some fresh fruit in that I used to supplement breakfast each morning, as their choice was boring but certainly sufficient. Asking for a renewal of anything that was run out on the buffet always brought a willing response, but I would call the staff reactive rather than proactive. The hotel caters for coach groups, which seemed mainly Russian at the time. That was an interesting experience… I had no problems but one morning after very very heavy rain, there was a flood in the dining room; but there was a table left on the higher ground and the staff did their best to overcome the temporary problem. Fortunately I went in after the group… The hotel’s OK for the price paid but it’s not the kind of place to have your honeymoon.
