Well the location is not great if you plan to be on the water a lot, but it is closer to the train station and some good restaurants. Our room was large with high ceilings and funky decor. The shower was strange. The breakfast was ok, bad coffee. The owner is nice but hard to communicate with (even with us trying french etc) , I'd describe her as eccentric and odd. She was not helpful, seemed to have no idea about anything. She had a Polish guest that she was putting to work in the B&B (because she has stayed there a long time, she said) and the girl spoke with us and seemed frustrated by it but seemed to feel sorry for the owner's stress level-- just weird stuff. Their towels are beyond moldy and musty and gross. They will make you gag- they need replaced. The towels were so gross we would not stay here again. Nice was way cooler than we thought it would be and we plan to go back, but we'd find another place.

Last year I booked a 3 night stay and paid one night some 3 months in advance as requested. I sent an email a couple of days beforehand and received further confirmation that my room was reserved. I arrived c6pm and was told there was no room available until the following night .
I was told to come back in the morning - no offer of a refund for the night I had already paid. The man that I saw did ring (but only when I asked) another hotel to see if there was a room available. However, I was on business - and no time for swapping rooms back and forth.
I am writing this here because although I have written and emailed I have never received acknowledgment let alone the requested refund for not honouring the agreement we had. It's a shame, as it looks great from the website - and I really did hope it would be a home from home as other travellers have experienced.

Comfortable room at an affordable price--exactly what the business traveler on a budget needs. I booked this hotel for a one night stay after the conclusion of the Cannes Film Festival because I had an early morning flight and needed to be near the airport. It's a short cab ride to the Nice airport from the B&B. Although the B&B is a little difficult to find because there are no signs for it, and it currently has scaffolding in front of it, it is well-located for exploring old Nice on foot. Genevieve was very personable and helpful which was a refreshing change of pace after dealing with some of the Cannes crowd. I was glad that I stayed there and would definitely recommend it for the traveler on a budget.

Beautiful gigantic apartment that makes you feel like a true local in Nice. Walking distance of everything in the city. Has the nicest staff who welcome you to the apartment, map out the surroundings for you, and help you with any issues! I would stay here 10 times out of 10 and recommend it to ALL friends!!
