This hotel is one of my favorite memories of the trip. We entered the small furnished hotel lobby with steps leading upstairs. We barely entered the door when we heard Hello, Hello, Hello. Here comes the Hotel Manager bouncing down the steps. He welcomed us took our suitcases, and started up the steps. He was talking to us telling us everyting he could help us with. He spoke excellent English.
Every morning he spent time with us. He would ask us where we were going to go that day. Than he would pull a map out and mark it for us. He would tell us which buses to take, and where to get them. He even suggested at one point that we should really go to see "Villa et Jardins Ephrusi de Rothschild which we did and it was lovely. We were glad we didn't miss it.
The hotel location was perfect. It in easy walking distance of almost everything including the beach. We went to several villages a short distance from Niece. With his help we easily caught buses about three blocks from the hotel that took us to all of the small towns we wanted to see along the French Riveria . We were able to go to Eze, Villefranche-sur-Mer, St-Paul-de-Vence and the Villa he suggested. The Hotel is small and so are the rooms. The price was great. The hotel clean, and a great breakfast. The night manager was fantastic also.
I have stayed in many hotels in Europe and this is was of my very favorites. Joyce
