We stayed here for two nights in June and found it definitely met our needs. The hotel is budget-friendly, it was in a good location and had free wifi. There were free beach towels if you leave a deposit. The room was comfortable and had a balcony that looked out to the main road and we didn't notice it being too noisy. As others mentioned the toilet was in a separate room than the shower and sink and we felt that this made both rooms feel cramped. We didn't have their breakfast but there were shops across the street where we could pick up coffee and pastries.
The front staff was very friendly and spoke good English. When we checked out we accidently left our pre-stamped postcards on the counter and when we called the hotel, they were very kind to drop them off at the post office for us. The hotel has a 24 hour front desk but late at night there is only one person so if they leave the front for a moment, they lock the hotel door so you have to wait until they return to enter the hotel. Overall, it is a great hotel in an excellent location and would recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel, though a distance from the train station, is easy to locate.You come out of the station,turn to your left and walk about 200m to the Avenue Jean Medecin. Just outside the station, pop in to the Tourisme office and collect your maps or brochures. At the Avenue Jean Medecin, turn to your right and walk along the foothpath next to the tramline. You will first pass the KFC shop and as you continue walking will pass the Notre Dame cathedral on your right. Walk for about 600m until you see Galeries Lafeyette. Turn to your left, do not pass Galeries Lafeyette. The hotel is 100m ahead on the right of the road.
This hotel is near the bus transport to many places. Bus 98 to airport, bus 22 to the Cimiez area, bus 100 to Monaco and take tram to Garibaldi or walk there for your trip to the Eze village.It is also near the Promenade des Anglais, cours saleya and the parc de la Colline du Chateau. Shopping - hop out of hotel to the Galleries Lafeyette and hop back to rest. Very convenient.
Wifi signal is strong and this hotel has an elevator. No need to carry your bags up the stairs. You can order breakfast if you want (we had ours at 7 am, on request). The staff speak English and are very pleasant and helpful. The bathroom is big and not cramped.
We would come back again to this hotel.

The hotel is very well located, public transportation is at hand (buses and train). Located in a commercial area, close to the old city and at a convenient walking distance to the train station. It seems to be an old building that has been renovated. The room was somewhat small in size for two people but it was ok for us. We were assigned a room overlooking the street and had a small balcony. The hotel was very clean, had a flat tv, safe, a small fridge, and free wi-fi in the room. The personnel were very friendly and spoke many languages. The reception is open 24 hs. Very good cost-quality relation compared to other options.

The hotel was in a great location close to the beach and close the old section of the city. It enabled us to see the old narrow cobblestone streets and the new modern areas of the city with the large squares and fountains. There were many places to eat nearby in the newer sections of the city and in the old so you could take your pick. The beautiful Promenade des Anglais was a mere 5 minutes walk. Wi fi was good, Continental breakfast only, however if not sufficient there were plenty of options nearby. Rooms were clean and spacious. There was some peeling paint near the windows and a little mould around the sealants in the bathroom, however nothing too serious. Service and security at the hotel was excellent.
Just a note of caution if you are in the habit of checking your credit card on the internet the hotel tests your credit card a couple of days before you arrive and it appears as a different name to Helvatique ( I've forgotten what it said) - it disappears from your card in a couple of days. The hotel is about 5 blocks from the railway station and is an easy walk even towing suitcases. We would certainly stay again as it felt safe and was so well located and good value for money.
