Hotel is a basic 3 star hotel in a nice quartier, though it takes some 30 minutes to walk to the old town - quite near to the Jean Medecin-shopping and railway station though. Easy to find, is in the middle of the city... Rooms were spacious, but their condition was quite poor (needs some 'refreshment' to be done -painting, finishing). Breakfast was exellent if you are an early bird (excellent selection around 7 am, nothing left and no service around 9h30 am).

We arrived in Nice at midnight and found out that our hotel had given away our room despite notifying them about late arrival. We were searching for a place to stay in a fully booked Nice for nearly two hours and finally the nice receptionist at hotel Aria had a room for us and let us stay there, even though we were four persons and he only had a double room left.

We stayed here for four nights and we had a really great stay. The rooms were clean, staff nice and the overall service was very good. Internet connection is not included, but available in the lobby for a cost of 2€/30 min. You can have breakfast for 10€.

Don't ever stay in this hotel. They are the rudest people ever and the hotel is ridiculous.

When we arrived in Nice, the tourist office told us that a "very good promotion" had just come through from a three star hotel for 62 euros. They suggested that it was a great bargain, so we booked in. Upon arrival, we thought we'd done well... the reception is nice, and the lift is very antique. However, when we arrived in our room, it was VERY basic - badly in need of renovation. I thought we did okay for 62 euros - it's just a place to sleep. But I know that if you book in advance, you can pay the same amount for much better in Nice. I feel really sorry for anyone who pays the full 126 euros for this very basic hotel in an average location.

The carpet was very dirty, the shower points at the floor instead of the tub (I tried not to feel too guilty about flooding the bathroom). It really is below average.

Everywhere we stayed in France, we had free wifi - this was the first hotel that charged us money to use it. The woman at the front desk told us we had gotten a very good deal, having a room with 'garden views'. When actually, the garden we are overlooking is dug up and appears to be full of drug users at night. I wouldn't bother with this place.
