Great little hotel in a super location handy for central Nice. In a quiet cul de sac so little road noise especially with shuters and windows closed.Approx 150m from the beach!
We dont do breakfast so had room only but it was a well appointed room of more than ample size which was kept clean and tidy. We stayed 5 nights and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Loads of cafes. bars and restaurants very close with a huge choice.

A great find for anyone wanting a very modestly priced tourist hotel.

This is our fifth year visiting Nice in October and our first stay at Massenet and it will not be our last.
Great value, clean, reasonable sized room, friendly and helpful staff and a great location just 100 yards off the promenade , 10 mins to old town and less to the new town. Very central.
breakfast at 8euro, if not in room price, is also good value. No negatives from travellers who can be critical so book and enjoy.
A word of warning ...beware street scams, like many cities there are those who will try to take advantage...the stranger with a mobile problem....the stranger who'finds' a gold ring on the floor by you....each was tried on us so beware but beware wherever you go.

Thanks to the other TripAdvisor reviewers, we selected this hotel for a one-night stay before boarding a cruise ship in Nice. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-appointed. Yes, the room and bathroom were on the small side but we expect that from European hotels. This is an older hotel and the hallways and public areas are smaller than what we see in US hotels. But, the room was very quiet which was nice since we both wanted to get a good night's sleep from jetlag. The front desk couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was ready earlier than the 3:00 check-in and everyone at the front desk was helpful in suggesting restaurants, giving us directions and then getting a taxi for us to go to the ship. All in all, this was quite a find and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

BIG for European standards. Quiet, yet right in the heart of a busy/vibrant neighborhood. Clean. Comfy beds. Well maintained. 24hr Front Desk. Air conditioning. 1 block from beach. Oh, did I say Clean? A myriad of restaurants within a stone-throw. Friendly helpful staff.
