The staff is friendly and the location to the seafront is very close. The rest of the place is just a dump with uncomfortable beds. Will not stay here again unless there are some serious renovations are done (gutting of the place). So it goes....

The only thing in its favour is the location. It is very close to the beach...if that is all one wants.

Apart from that it is VERY shabby, with dirty carpeting in the corridor leading to the rooms on the second floor, (I did not venture further up the stairs - there is no lift) The bathroom looked as though it had been plumbed & tiled by a novice, the lavatory pan was stained by rust.

Towels were regularly changed as was the top sheet, but the overall impression one had was of a very rundown property. The locks on the doors were very old and difficult to open and close ...result - a lot of noise late at night as guests returned to their rooms. The rooms were also not well sound insulated, so laughter and chatting were also a problem when one was awakened from sleep.

One of the receptionists was very pleasant ...but the other was very surly.

I would not stay there again nor would I recommend any friend to do so. I consider it too expensive for it general state

Stayed here for 2 nights. It's a short walk to the main square, train station, and sea. The staff is friendly and the room was reasonably clean. For the money it's definitely worth it if you don't mind staying in a 2 star hotel.

Good points: the location, it's very good.
Cheap, bearing in mind that Nice is expensive, but actually the hotel is so tacky that the price is not that cheap.

Bad points:
• Bathroom with mouldy ceilings (we asked to changed the room, and the bathroom in the second room, was a bit better, still with marks in the ceiling, but better).
• The look of the room has NOTHING TO DO with the actual pictures they have in the web. We saw 3 different rooms, I MADE THE point that we wanted one of the rooms that were shown on the internet, but we were told at the reception that all of the rooms were the same (grey rooms, old walls and old wardrobes, with curtains in pink and white colour matching the duvets- nothing wrong with those colours- but nothing in clean and nice orange as it’s shown in the web), so the pictures contained on the website definitely mislead the public
• The last day when we were entering the front door of the hotel a rat flew over our heads (jumping from one side to the stairs of the hotel).
There is a girl (I think is called Flavia) really nice that will try to help the guests as much as she can (unfortunately there is another girl, dark haired that will not help at all).
